Thy Kingdom Come
15 - 31 May 2020
Thy Kingdom Come prayer initiative between Ascension day (Thursday 21st May) and Pentecost (Sunday 31st May) this year encouraged us to pray especially for God’s Spirit to work in the lives who don’t follow Christ, and for them to experience a life changing encounter with His love.
Last year we celebrated Thy Kingdom Come by hanging ribbons from the trees in our church grounds. Unfortunately this was not possible this year due to social distancing. However the important thing is that we still all prayed together
either as individuals or in
our Prayer Groups during this time.
'Jesus loves all' -
a Prayer Journal
This year we journeyed through the eleven days of Thy Kingdom Come using this Prayer Journal 'Jesus loves all'
Methodist Youth President,
Each day there is a passage from the Bible, a short reflection, a prayer, and a suggestion for action. There is also space each day for your own notes.
Throughout the journal there are images to help you meditate on each daily theme. Let these inspire you as you read through each section for that day; and add your own notes.
Author, Thelma Commey says, “It is my prayer that as we explore Scripture and reflect on the unconditional love of Jesus, you will experience it for yourself. Jesus loves you”.
