A Word From Our Minister In a very short time, I've discovered that Wesley
Place is a welcoming church and I hope that experience is shared by others who find their way here. During the week, the building is busy with activities for all age groups, from young children and
their carers to older people meeting at the Women's Fellowship or the Men's Breakfast. Non-church groups use the building too, and rooms are available for hire. All these activities increase our
links with the community – serving others is an important part of our mission.Sunday morning worship is well attended and the Adventurers (children and young people) begin in church, leaving for their own
activities and rejoining the congregation before the end of the service. The evening service is quieter, with a smaller congregation. If you have any queries about baptisms or weddings or would like
to know more about us or about the Methodist Church, don't be afraid to visit or call 01270 747292 to see if we can help. If you're trying to arrange a funeral, the funeral director will guide
