Christmas at Wesley Place is aleways a joyful time. It is also a family time, when young and old within the church
come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus. This year, we held two services on 18th December which looked at
different aspects of the Christmas Story. |

|
In the morning, with the help of our Adventurers' Club, we built a Jesse tree, explaining how the birth of Jesus
is the fulfilment of God's Promises made to the Israelites |

|
The symbols for the Jesse Tree were made by members of the congregation, and added to the Tree by our young people (the Adventurers' Club) |

The children sang carols while the congregation were making the symbols for the Jesse Tree |

This year, we combined our Festival or Lessons and Carols with an afternoon Christingle Service that the whole
church could join in. The whole church was lit up by candlelight as we joined in the music of Christmas. |
